\u00ab\u00a0Les porcelaines, c\u2019est un vaste continent blanc \u00e0 la fois d\u00e9licat et capricieux. Elles se fissurent, se d\u00e9forment et parfois se brisent.<\/p>\n
C\u2019est un paysage qui se questionne sans cesse. Pour moi, c’est la rencontre entre le feu et le froid…\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Passionn\u00e9e par les r\u00e9gions polaires, C\u00e9cile Fouillade tente de recr\u00e9er un univers de porcelaine froid \u00e0 la fois d\u00e9licat et puissant.<\/p>\n
Apr\u00e8s une formation en design graphique, elle s\u2019oriente vers un Brevet des M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Arts en c\u00e9ramique au Lyc\u00e9e Henri Moisand \u00e0 Longchamp en 2016, puis elle se forme durant un an \u00e0 la Maison de la C\u00e9ramique de Dieulefit.<\/p>\n
C\u2019est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses exp\u00e9ditions maritimes au Groenland, en Norv\u00e8ge et en Islande que l\u2019artiste trouve l\u2019inspiration pour son travail de la porcelaine. Elle tente de retrouver les textures et formes animales qu\u2019elle a pu observer sur ces territoires froids et fragiles. Pour elle, il est essentiel de mettre en lumi\u00e8re toute la beaut\u00e9 de ces paysages et de ces animaux extraordinaires et vitaux, qui sont aujourd\u2019hui menac\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Porcelain is like a vast, delicate and capricious white continent. It can crack, alter its shape and sometimes, it can even break. It\u2019s a landscape that constantly changes. For me, it is the meeting of fire and ice. A tribute, a fragment of a dream, an escapism … My porcelain sculptures give shape to a world both near and far.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Fascinated by the polar regions, C\u00e9cile Fouillade attempts to recreate a world of cold porcelain that is both delicate and powerful.
\nAfter training in graphic design, she graduated with a Brevet des M\u00e9tiers d’Arts in ceramics from the Lyc\u00e9e Henri Moisand in Longchamp in 2016, then trained for a year at the Maison de la C\u00e9ramique in Dieulefit.<\/p>\n
It is through her maritime expeditions to Greenland, Norway and Iceland that the artist finds the inspiration for her porcelain work. She tries to rediscover the textures and animal forms she observed in these cold, fragile lands. For her, it is essential to highlight the beauty of these extraordinary and vital landscapes and animals, which are under threat today.
