Created in 2007 by Baptiste Ymonet and Vincent Jousseaume, Atelier Polyhedre is part of the frontiers of plastic arts and decorative arts through an experimental and artisanal approach to ceramics, notions of objects and environments.<\/p>\n

Located in Nantes, the workshop is located on the outskirts of the city centre, on the edge of the Loire.
\nIt is here that Baptiste and Vincent ensure the creation of models, the realisation of moulds, production in small series, cooking as well as all satellite operations for communication and dissemination.<\/p>\n

A place dedicated to the invention and manufacture of ceramic parts. Mainly by the use of the earthenware shackle poured in plaster moulds that allow the precise reproduction of the developed collections.
\nA rhythm and a four-handed implementation allowing the necessary attention for each object realised<\/p>\n

\"Very early on, the use of plaster moulds was imposed in the workshop. First to allow the edition of pieces in several copies. An asset to fix precise angles, flat surfaces and reproduce them easily. Or on the contrary, freeze by moulding more wild and ephemeral states leaving a share of chance in the formation of volumes.
\nLes rapports entretenus avec un moule sont assez intimes finalement. Il y a d\u2019abord la r\u00e9alisation de ce qu\u2019on appelle le mod\u00e8le qui va servir \u00e0 la fabrication des \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui constitueront le moule final. Un moule plus ou moins complexe selon la forme souhait\u00e9e.
\nUne fois que le moule est pr\u00eat, il est n\u00e9cessaire de l\u2019essayer \u00e0 plusieurs reprises pour comprendre sa nature. M\u00eame si celui-ci a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi longuement pour optimiser le d\u00e9moulage, il y a toujours des surprises. En fait il faut observer ses r\u00e9actions par rapport \u00e0 ce qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 imagin\u00e9 au d\u00e9part pour ensuite, d\u2019une certaine mani\u00e8re, s\u2019adapter \u00e0 lui et obtenir le r\u00e9sultat attendu.
\nApr\u00e8s plusieurs ann\u00e9es, les moules prennent une place dans l\u2019atelier de plus en plus cons\u00e9quente ! Par leur accumulation, ils remplissent les \u00e9tag\u00e8res, les rayonnages, les plateaux, ils se bousculent les uns les autres selon les commandes et il faut d\u00e9ployer tout un tas de stratag\u00e8mes pour vivre et travailler avec.>><\/p>\n
