Le Haras d\u00e9finitif est cr\u00e9e en 1886 sur le site actuel et s\u2019\u00e9tend sur 7,5 ha. Ce d\u00e9p\u00f4t d\u2019\u00e9talons dont l\u2019effectif va cro\u00eetre r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, atteindra son apog\u00e9e en 1912 avec 422 \u00e9talons.
