C\u2019est en 1846, au centre de la ville, anciennement appel\u00e9e Napol\u00e9on-Vend\u00e9e, que le haras ouvrit.<\/p>\n<p>Il est l\u2019un des plus r\u00e9cents et a la particularit\u00e9 d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 construit, d\u00e8s l\u2019origine, pour abriter un haras. En effet, la plupart des haras \u00e9tablis au XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle sont plut\u00f4t des ensembles monastiques d\u00e9mantel\u00e9s sous la R\u00e9volution et transform\u00e9s en haras, ou des b\u00e2timents recycl\u00e9s par les n\u00e9cessaires \u00e9volutions induites par la r\u00e9volution industrielle.
